Humanitarian Defense brings a new dimension to NGO disaster and relief operations.
In a region recovering from war or natural disaster, HDF puts a team on the ground - within hours, when possible. The team members are selected according specific, relevant skills and/or knowledge of the local area, customs and languages. Once in-country, that team goes to work making local contacts, gathering up-to-date intelligence and producing a security assessment.
Our clients - whether missionary groups, aid organizations or reconstruction companies - benefit from our ability to use our local sources to facilitate transportation, logistical supply and procurement of local supplies. In addition, all of our team members are highly trained to address any security concerns; both static and mobile - although we pride ourselves on our low-profile, 'hearts and minds' approach, as befits the the business of humanitarian relief.
